Chocolate Chip Cookies
I don't know if you are like me but my favorite thing to do is to sit down with someones recipe box. You know the recipes that are dirty from using it so many time. Those are the recipes that have been passed down for generations.
I have a family recipe cookbook that I love to write down all of my favorite recipes that I have tryed and want to be listed as "favorite". You know the recipe you don't have to cut out of a magazine anymmore because you have now found the perfect one. I use the book daily and my adult children now call and ask for the recipe. I have decided to start this blog so they can come here to get all the recipes that they need. Here is my girls favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I hope you enjoy eating the dough as much as they do.
1 c. tub margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
3 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 t. salt
Cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Add soda, flour and salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake between 8 - 12 minutes at 350. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 min before removing to cooling rack.
