Banana Bread

Today it was only 15 degrees outside so I decided to make my "famous banana bread".  The house smelled wonderful and my bread turned out wonderful.  I thought I would share my most requested recipe.  It is foolproof and makes 2 nice loaves.  The next time you have 4 brown banana's laying around try this recipe.  I know you will love it.

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 t. vanilla
4 eggs
4 mashed bananas
3 1/2 c. flour
2 t. baking soda
2 t. salt
1 c. walnuts optional

Cream sugar, butter, cream cheese and vanilla until creamed.  Add eggs one at a time. Fold in mashed bananas.  Put aside.  In a separate bowl sift flour, baking soda and salt.  Add banana mixture.  You can add 1 c. walnuts if desired. Pour in 2 greased loaf pans.  Bake 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
